Percodan Medication - Uses & Side EffectsGeneric Name: Oxycodone with Aspirin Percodan combines two pain-killing drugs: the narcotic analgesic oxycodone, and the common pain reliever aspirin and it is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Oxycodone (related to codeine) is in a class of drugs known as narcotic analgesics. It relieves pain. Aspirin is a less potent pain reliever, as well as an anti-inflammatory and a fever reducer. Aspirin increases the effects of oxycodone. Percodan DosageThe usual dose for the treatment of pain is one tablet every 6 hours as needed.
